my ajustable wastegate is routed from the turbo to the wastgate.i have no sylonoid on the passenger side valve cover,but i do have the plug laying there,if somebody bypassed it do i still need it there for the plug.dont really understand what that sylonoid is for if you r supposed to bypass it,i have a stock turbo and intercooler.thanks for the help.

someone chime in an let me know if my info is accurate....but people bypass the wastegate solenoid because it is controlled by the computer, and the computer is gonna decide how much boost that your turbo makes. So you can adjust the wastegate rod till you are blue in the face, but until you bypass the noid, it won't make any/much difference. Basically it allows you to adjust the boost by lengthening or shortening the wastegate rod. How did I do guys?
