If crank flex is one of the things that kills these motors what about just going with the billet main caps, and a new Eagle forged crank? I'd think the stiffer crank along with the main caps might provide some insurance and avoid the headaches and associated oil leaks of a girdle? The stock rods still work with the Eagle crank right?
