OK, So I just bought this car. I Went down to Ramchargers and bought a scanmaster to hook up. It dosn't read any knock up until around 17 psi of boost (it's set for about 19 right now). Around 17 it skyrockets. I've had readings anywhere from 5 to 19 KR. Also, sometimes the o2 readings are consistent, and sometimes they will jump hundreds of points from frame to frame. I'm thinking that this can't be normal. The former owner states that he used to run the boost in the low 20s on the same set up. I'm new to TRs and the scanmaster, so maybe I'm just over cautious or didn't hook the thing up right.
I am using 93 octane gas, and the alky system seems to be working right. I pulled a sparkplug last night and it looked like it was running lean. We were not sure if maybe they just look like that on a turbo car. I would greatly appreciate any help, Thanks

At idle and cruise speeds o2's will jump around but at wide open they sound be steady.Tune for no knock.Do what ever it takes to have no knock.Turn boost down or better fuel.If you don't you will be replacing head gaskets or it could even be worse!
