The pit pass is for vehicle parking,Anyone can walk to the pits.Unless your calling your golf cart your vehicle,Im not sure why you feel you got over on them

We parked outside and used the golf cart instead of walking. We used the extra dough we saved by not driving into the pits (with the truck) to put toward the golf cart rental.

I feel there is no justification for charging the fee to drive your own vehicle into the pits like Billy T has explained above. That is highway robbery.

I parked just outside the gate and they let me drive in to drop off some parts later on in the day.
I'm bring my daughters electric scooter this year. But I got to say that there were lots of nice guys that would pick you up in their golf carts and give you a ride.
