Is there a way to bench test a brake bowl to see if it's good or not without pressure testing it or putting it on a car? The reason I ask is I think I saw someone one time use a piece of 2x4 with a peg in it (not sure what it was maybe a nail??) that would fit inside the bowl opening and then press down on the ball with the peg inserted and if it went down it was no good and if it didn't it might be ok and worth a pressure test. Anyone know more on this or any other methods?
