brake convertion

hey guys
when i get home im going to do a vacuum brake convertion my question is if i go to advance auto or napa or any parts store what parts numbers or vehicle year do i give them i was going to just give them an N/A regal will this work or does any one know the parts numbers thanks

Just tell the parts guy you have an 87 carbeurated Regal. V6 or V8 is the same booster and master cylinder. In fact, any G-body Regal, Cutlass, Grand Prix, two and four doors, have the same brakes. Try to get an aluminum master cylinder. Lately, they've been trying to pedal a cast iron unit. If the store you go to has the cast iron unit, go to another store, unless you don't mind the "unsightly" cast iron job.
