Try to find a good set of aluminum drums! Save the weight! Costs about the same as new drums from the parts store. There's usually a set on the board for sale at any given time.

If you like dumpster diving like me, you can find some at the junkyard sometimes on the 3rd gen fbodies. I haven't seen any on gbodies and s10 yet though.

My friend that does cirlce track said every lb of rotating mass equals 7 lbs of dead weight. Don't know if its really true though, we know how those circle track guys are
