Brake Problem

My brakes have been having this problem. The brake pedal gets hard sometimes and then returns to normal. The brake light does not appear. A member suggested to check the pressure switch by cleaning the ends and reseating. Today, the brakes were hard again and I removed the pressure switch and reseated same. The brakes are normal again. Does the pressure switch need replacement and where can I obtain one. Thanks for any help.

You need to run some diagnostics.
Brake System

The hard pedal feel is usually an accumulator ball going bad.
At the cost of the components these days, you need to be sure what the problem is before you begin throwing parts at it.
Read the procedure, get a good timepiece, test your P/M and post back with your results.

The switches are typically not the problem.
