Hello Im new to this site but have been on it and getting lots of great info from all the threads. My problem is my brake light came on while I was idleing in the garage.I noticed a few time before some wierd noise coming from the dash area that I thought was a bad speaker.Well I got reading on this site and found out theres a motor on the brakes and its making a racket and it blew the fuse.I put in a new fuse and the noise is back.I wont try it again untill I know how to fix it.Any suggestions will really help.Thanx:confused:

Powermaster motor making the noise and most likely blowing the fuse. You're looking at replacing the brake unit with another powermaster or converting to a vacuum brake system. Try the search feature on this site, lots of info about these brakes...

Good Luck,

It could also be something simple like the brake switch...had it happen to me several years ago...try another brake switch you may get lucky...

This is assuming motor is not making noise and you see no fluid anywhere.
