Hey guys, I replaced my drivers side window and now when it rolls up, it ducks inside the weatherstrip, but if I roll it up with the door open, it seals up nicely against the weatherstrip and passes the dollar bill test.

It appears something has to "push" the window towards the outer skin but none of the adjustments I am making are doing that.

Thoughts ?

Try moving the felt tipped guiders on the inside of the glass towards the center of the car. The window may also be going up to far, forcing it out. Try lowering the up-stop a quarter inch. Hows your outside window sweeps? They help push the glass in, too.

Up stop ?

Window sweeps ?

The window is diving to the side of the car, forcing it to go inside and under the weatherstripping.

You are going to have to take your door panels off and adjust the windows from inside. The two bolts you want are facing up, about 16" from the left. You will actually have to get on your knees and look up to see them. They are probably loose and/or your bolts to the glass itself have worked loose. Get yourself one of those window rattle books from Pete Serio. I would have been lost without mine. That's the best i can help you. HTH
