Hi Bruce,

I recently purchased a 1986 Regal and am now in the process of installing a 1970 Stage1 455 in it. The build-up will be for a proven 530HP/560Lb TQ. I would like to retain the 200-4R for nice interstate cruising with the 8.5" 3.42 geared GN rearend I installed so.......have you ever heard of Jimmy's Transmission in the Chicago area? I'm in Illinois so if he is one you can vouch for his ability with these trans. that would save me a few shipping dollars. If not, guess you'll be receiving it to build correctly. I only want to spend my hard earned money ONCE (but who doesn't , right?).

Jimmys has a good rep as far as I know

However, I will not put my ass on the line for ANYBODY I cannot back. I have heard of several that have been happy, Craig Shellman (Nick,_gnsrule), comes to mind, among others. If you feel comfortable than by all means go ahead as it is you that you need to pacify, and nobody else.
