How many users have tried the secondary setting for boost control on the line for launching? How low can you go & hold steady boost with a stock actuator? Can you hold 5,6,7 lbs every time? For those that use 3rd gear as the basic instructions have the wiring for do you drop 2 lbs for 3rd gear safety? I am very curious about the Launch Boost Control part of the unit.
Please let me know what you have Personally Experienced? Thanks!!

The BstC can't control boost any lower than whatever the boost is with the hose going directly from the compressor fitting to the actuator. Niether can the ecm for that matter. Single digits might be problematic, but easy enough to test. Making the actuator rod as long as possible and still be effective should get the lowest setting.

Another issue would be getting to max boost. Even with 2 solenoids the BSTC only has about 12 psi range so if base is 8 then max is only 20. More solenoids (if BSTC can handle, ask Bob), or a larger orifice in the Y will add more range at the cost of sensitivity.

I know this doesn't answer you're question, but it might make it moot.

Seems to be the concensus but I was hoping?? Maybe I can hold 18 lbs on the line with my Super Brakes! LOL ;) Had to ask!! Thanks & Cheers!
