Buddy Ingersoll RIP

Passed away on March 10 at the age of 70 after a long bout with cancer. Best remembered for kicking some ass in pro stock running a twin turbo Buick V6 in the '80's

I have read this article before and I bookmarked it. When I went back to it today, I read at the top that Ingersoll past away on March 11th. He was an innovator and who knows where he would have taken the turbo v6 had he been allowed to run in NHRA competitions. It is pretty amazing that he accomplished what he did. Ingersoll was certainly ahead of his time.

I never get tired of seeing that video. Buddy may not have won that race, but he did win lots of respect. We still carry that torch.
