has anyone used the aluminum slic from buickgn.com? if so how would you compare it to the precision slic?

You won't be disappointed AND they have a one year warranty on manufacturer defects. Only problem is they are on back order until early next week.:)

Already got mine this summer! Very nice piece:) I just wanted the intercooler for performance and flow reasons, but it looks a lot better than the stocker too!

Only problem was the new pass. intercooler bracket is a little bigger so a PF52 oil filter does not fit well and it might catch the oil when taking the filter off, rather than the drain pan:eek:

track times coming Sept. 28 i believe;)

PTE's is very nice BUT...ya always a but.. how fast you looking to go ???

slic

well I have a lot of time before I get back home to start working on the car, but I think i'd like to have about 350 to 400 horsepower and run high 9's low tens. The car has nothing as it sits right now. Everything is pretty much all stock so i will be doing a lot of major work when i get home to the engine tranny and suspension.

Rex,

If this is a full weight Buick you will need more power than you stated to achieve your ET goals.

Best of luck,

weight

yes it is a full weight car and it has t tops. how much horsepower would i need what would be the best and safest way to achieve that?

1) I'd say 6-700 maybe even more.
2) Do a search, it takes a LOT of work and money once you get past low 11's high 10's IMO.

got that intercooler and it is awesome noticed a gain in boost and spool up right away. as for the biggie oil filter you can use your stock one you just have to cut the bottom off of it to fit
