hello ladies and gents; Last year I started taping them up from the bottom with that tape (we joked about as speed tape when I ran a go kart) as they're cracking bad. But does anyone have any pics of the car without the fillers? It must look like crap.
thanks

Do you mean removed and left like that, or do you mean how to pull them and put them back on?
I just replaced mine with the fiberglass ones and have pictures with them off, but the bumpers were off too.
Let me know what you want a pic of.

hello people; I'd like to see a pic. of a turbo buick with the bumpers on and no fillers.
thanks

I appologize for hijacking, but how are the glass fillers?

I just put a set on a guys car and had to modify one quite a bit. It stuck out past the tail light. Had to do a lot of cutting and re-fiber glassing. This was not my first time at this. I have also put on the ABS ones. They required some adjustments but not like this. Maybe I got a bad one. Dunno.

I have the fiber glass ones on the front and had to move the bumper out quite a bit and they still squeak when hitting bumps and are not a direct bolt in...... They suck IMO

hello people; No pics yet but I bet there's people out there that have them off.
But on this site there's talk about someone comming up with some fillers that are close to stock with looks and material. I like to see that. But of coarse the going to want a pretty penny.

i am not opposed to paying a fair price for a quality product but as of now i have purchased a set of abs from steele rubber products that were broken garbage, they refunded my money no problem. I currently have a set of fiberglass ones from gbodyparts and one of them arrived broken and they are far from what i would consider quality and look nothing like the stock ones. bad part is they insist on blaming fed-ex for damage that IMO is from poor packaging and now i have parts i cant use and no refund or replacement in sight.
If anyone knows of "quality" fillers i am very interested

Sorry ADD is a big part of internet conversations
anyway i didn't take mines of the car but theres not much left of them on the car LOL i'll try and get some pictures for you tonight
BTW the car looks terrible with out them.

I got my fronts from Full Throttle. They showed up in good shape, and required very little fitting. The gel coat only had one pinhole in it on one filler. They're at the body shop getting painted right now. I'll take some pics after they're back on. I've been impressed with the quality of them, and next spring, I'll be ready for the rears. I'll get those from FTS too.

Here are a couple of pics with no fillers:

No bumper

gunslinger says he was "impressed" with the quality of his fillers.

I can't say the same about my gbodyparts fiberglass fillers. I don't hate them and I will make them look right, but I could definitely say I am not impressed. There are minor chips, cracks, and scratches. There are rough bits and hazy patches.

I expected to have to sand, paint and fit them. I am not complaining.

Just something to consider when you pull out your credit card.
