I ave alky for the street but was thinking of c14 for the track .Has anyone tried it .Did the car like it

I always had best luck with c16 in the race gas days. But to be honest, since I put the alky on, It hasn's seen race gas again.

Not only is C-16 the way to go, but C-14 is NOT the way to go.

C-14 is motor octane 114. It is made for NHRA Pro Stock and Comp cars, for any normally aspirated engine above 8500 RPMs with compression ratios 14 to 1 and over. It is yellow in color.

C-16 is motor octane 117. It is recommended for blown or turbocharged applications. It is blue in color.

C-16 is not only the best VP racing fuel to use, it is the only VP racing fuel to use. If you use some other brand, like Sunoco or others, be sure you know what kind of engine it is to be used in. It is important because of different burn rates and other factors.

Don't mean to be so harsh, but I think it is important for people to know that there is more to it than just the difference of 3 octane points between C-14 and C-16. :)
