Caddy CTS-V - who has one ??

I know this is not a Cadillac site, but I picked up a CTS-V today and after 100 miles I think this is the nicest car GM has put out in a long time (if you are not a Vette fan).

I have a family and needed the 4 door, but still wanted the performance.. The 6 speed trans is awesome and the tires bark in the first 3 gears. I heard 4th gear will bark at around 100mph with a few mods.... The sound system is also great (Bose)..

Like our Turbo Buicks, it is quiet until you punch it out...

Anyone else out there, that loves the turbo Buicks, pick up a CTS-V as a daily driver ??? What a great car !!! If you are shopping around, give this a look...

Not the "V", but the 3.6L. The car is awesome, even with the 6. It's by far the most bang for the buck out there as far as a lux-o-rod goes.

FYI: the 3.6L engine is all aluminum, DOHC, variable valve timing, 6 bolt mains, forged crank, rods, and pistons, full-float pins, 6500 redline. I've seen an article where GM shows it's future upgrade potential to be 400 HP and 400 lb/ft. Should someone ever design a turbo kit for it...

there is someone on here that has a CTS-V...i am sure he will chime in once he sees this thread...AWESOME cars but pricey (hey you get what you pay for!)

Ive been thinking that that is one new car i like alot , A 4door vette if you will . Maybe you should spray the caddy with some Nitrous

Very jealous. Thats one of the sweetest rides going. I haven't even seen a CTS-V on the road yet.

Since I am sick of looking at dust on the black GN, no matter how much cleaning, I chose the silver. (Only other choice for the V).

No nitrous on this car but I was thinking about giving Razor a call and looking at a progresssive alcohol spray. That is - if there is any room under the hood.

They really shoe horned that Z06 engine into the compartment. There is just enough room left over for the dip stick ..I also think I am slowely getting addicted to the X Satellit radio. 3 free months when you purchase the car. Great Music, no commercials..

I am getting used to a whole new driving experience.

CTS-V's are hot! i did some looking into one, at 51,000 its priced with BMW's M3, but.......it beats the M3 and M5's times around the nurberg ring ( world famous race track in germany, heres a link to the map for those so inclined,

so at 51g's its a bargain for what it is, a great touring car!
