I saw a video on another car forum with 2 guys trying to get a race together and who comes in to mediate, Cal. I never saw so much backpeddling and bravado with no substance in my life. Cal do know either one of those yahoos? If they are out there Fri i may have to try out the new set up and get a free show.
I would post a link but you need to sign up to see there posts. Its FuelSluts.net, dont do .com its a whole nother slut.

Man, that was just last night. Yeah I was at the track tuning the yellow twin turbo Trans Am (maybe it's in the video). I'll have to log in and see the video.

Cal,

I just watched that and I am so sorry.
How can you deal with the young ones like that?
I am only 32 but I can not deal with people like that!

Well John, I watched it and it wasn't any better on film.

IMO: The highlight of the film is the yellow Trans Am I was tuning on. It's a 508 aluminum BBC with twin 47-80's. Ran bottom 8's with 5.6#'s of boost so far on a 10.5 tire

Don't tease me, when you can I would love to hear more.

BTW did you get my email from while back?

Cal, Did you even know any of them guys? Are you going to be out tomorrow?

LOL!

Classic bickering over a race..Ofcourse the money on the line complicates everything..

And then they rope Cal in to be the mediator?

Situations like that are why most money races never happen..

Wow up here you break you loose full bet  Man if it took that long to get a race I would be going insane  Im so glad its not like that up here wow  :D

Scott, I won't be there tonight. I know the owner of the Buick from my old "street racing days". The funny thing is when the Mustang tried to buy the race and we spit $700 more at him.

Cal, isn't that the car that was shaking down at the outlaw race a few weekends ago?

I wish we had a camera at the local races last Sunday. We were called saying that a GN was dared to show up and run their Monte. Well, we get there in a mid 10 second car and the arguing begins. They proceed to back up so far they load it on the trailer that it came in on and we had to drive another 45 minutes if we want to race. Now we are supposed to run a Mustang. Cops show up, we agree to meet at the track as soon as it's warm. I remember the last words out of the head ish talker was "A Buick better not show up at the track"

I told him we had a Buick for everybody and I'd be there. He just don't know what's in mine ;)

Yeah, we were sorting it out at that race. Turned out the CO2 line to the wastegates was plugged and we were only able to get 5-6 psi. It did manage an 8.0 at that boost. Now we've got boost and are sorting out traction issues.

I heard him say that he was having boost problems. Looks like a wicked ride
