I'm replacing my cam , lifters and cam bearings. I have heard there are some mods that can be done to the cam bearings #1 in particular. Can anyone help with this? Also who sells cam saver lifters?

My advice would be to get the high perf cam bearings from TA Performance. Then no extra special mods are required or desired.

If the motor is in the Car, changing cam bearings is an undertaking, at least. The front bearing is the one that wears. Some people drill a smaller oil port/hole in the bearing( and rotate how the bearing sits in the block, somewhat),,,, to allow more oil to go to the driverside lifter galley. Somewhat effective, however, a new front cam bearing should solve this problem of oil hemoragging from the top of the front cam journal/bearing.
