Hey guys I'm a little lost on this one I bought a cam sencor tool and it seems that every where I read and on the tools instructions it says when set propery the wires will point to the driver side headlight so I followed the instructions tool says its set and wires are pointing to driver side headlight but now the car won't stop stalling seems to run alot better 180 deg backwards not really getting this also I have seen 2 other tr where the wires pint to pass side heater box any ideas?

It does NOT matter which direction the wires are pointing. :)

What DOES matter is the relationship of the gap on the rotor to the slot in the cap.

Also, the "notch" for the cap in the base unit, must be 180 degrees from the gap on the rotor when it is aligned in the slot of the cap.

All this takes place when the crank is positioned 25 degrees AFTER TDC on the compression stroke.

Oh alright I thought the direction of the wires mattered the cam tool also says its set If I turn it 180 deg and the car runs fine there so maybe ill just set it there then seems to be the way it likes it thanks for your help guys

It sounds like you have it set on the wrong TDC stroke, there are two crank revs for one cam rev, and it can be difficult to figure it out if you are not used to doing it. But as stated turning it 180 will work. If you would like further help on understanding this PM me and I be glad to help you.
