cam sensor unplugged???

if you disconnect the cam sensor while the engine is running will it fix the idle until the car is shut off or not? i heard it would.

Cam sensor, it will keep running. Crank sensor, it will die.

im just trying to diagnose an imporperly set cam sensor w/o the use or a cam sensor tool. is there any way to do this?

Use a volt meter and follow the steps on GNttype.org

Look under "adjust your cam sensor"
