Cam Slam

In the process of overhauling an 85 HA stocker..i got two options on the cam
206/206 or 204/214...how do they differ? and what one should perform better? I'm looking to have a quick stocker with alky.

I put the 204/214 in mine I like it. but im not running alky

I have had the 204/214 for about 5 years now and love it. Smooth idle, nice powerband, pulls to the top.

did u guys just switch out the cam to the 204/214 alone ? or did u modify other top end parts ? lifters rockers etc...

New cam must have new lifters, the rest is fine if in good shape.

New 100lbs springs & lifters, ported factory heads,5 angle vavle job..Trw .30 forged pistons,and rods,BBK 255lph hot wired,a gen1 smc alcohol kit...a full overhaul.I hope to build a pretty quick street car. Only thing is stock injectors and turbo

Sounds like a nice setup. You prob could have used my old ported hot air intake to top all that off. I did quite a bit of work to it. Come to think of it, I still have two on the shelf in the garage. Was saving them in case I ever stumble into another hot air project.

Have you already converted to 87 ECM so you can use a turbotweak chip?
