Its a 3 bolt Turbonetics,with a 2.5" inlet,I dont think thats for a GN.
Well your wrong. It is a three bolt housing that will fit any TR and has a .82 housing with a blank-off for an external gate. It is more than likely a 14 blade Cheetah or Stage 3. Basically a TA-49.

Good, learn somthing everyday.I dont mess with small turbo's hence why I said "I think";)

Kinda like your post about GM using MLS gaskets when theyve been using them since the 1st LS1's rolled off the assembly line;)

Ummmm okay. Just thought it was neat that the baddest SBC ever made is using them. I don't follow the SBC stuff closely.

Now maybe you should go back and brush up on your Turbo Buick turbo I.D. skills some so I don't have to school you all the time :D

That will work. You will need a small section to bolt to it to direct the bleed-off and quite it a bit. The quitest way is to dump the wastegate back into the downpipe or exhaust.

The exhaust housing is a Turbonetics piece, but dunno about the compressor......maybe a standard Cheetah? I have a Cheetah Stage 3 on mine and it has a smooth anodized blue backing plate, not the finned stock-appearing one like your turbo. Wish I could get this freaking laptop to work with my dig camera, then I could post a pic of mine for comparison. I know mine works very nicely on the street with the stock D5 convertor, ported elbow, and stock downpipe....much better than the stock turbo.
