Can i make stock fan stay on with car off?

hey guys im curious if i can put an inline toggle switch and somehow get my stock fan to stay on after i shut the car off so it can cool everything down a little bit more. most of my freinds after running their car shut it down and leave the fan on for a little bit to cool off more. can i just splice a switch inline and turn it on and off when i feel like it? any ideas on how to do this and have it still work with the chip. so im looking to maek a fan on during the car off and still function to come on right when the chip tells it waht temp to come on. thanks guys hope its not too confusing.

All you have to do is ground the green wire with the yellow stripe coming off the high speed relay.
