Can I use Comp 981 springs?

From what I read in earlier threads, I cannot use them. I just picked up my heads from the machine shop and noticed he had installed these springs. The heads and intake are ported and I am about to change my cam to Speed Pro 204/214. I just don't want to wipe any cam lobes Do I need to install 980's?

I used them on a used KB cam. KBs valve springs are 104# on the seat. Comp 981s are like 105#, close enough. His car is still runnin strong 6 months later.
