Can Interior paint be used on Metal?

My glove box door is kinda fugly. Would like to repaint it. I like the way the SEM interior paint matches. But will it work on the metal glove box? Have not bought the paint yet....dont know if they can ship it to Hawaii. Always see a disclaimer on sites that sell paint that it can not be shipped by air.

A few years back I used the SEM Color Coat spray in Landau Black to restore the dash on a '72 Skylark. I used it on both the plastic dash panel as well as the metal portions of the dash including the glove box door. Although the can does not specifically recommend it for metal surfaces I had no problems with it. Prep, prep, prep. HTH.

i dont think so because most interior paint has adhesive promoter built in.

It will but the interior paint is just a little transparent it won't cover well.
