the chip has a rn on it and it has a white square sticker with42 custom wrote on it any help with this would be great

Probably for 42# injectors, don't know what the RN indicatoes.

The "RN" he stated has nothing to do with chip ID...its the raised letters on the chip holder. It stands for Robert Nuggent, the company that makes the Holders for the chip/eprom.
