Can you use an original GN clip on speedometer cable with GNX style dash

I am working on a restomod GN and am in the process of doing an instrument cluster install. I have a GNX style dash with a threaded speedometer connector on the backside. The dash insert has SW gauges. I have a cable that is for the normal GN dash that is a clip on and is not threaded. Is there any way to use the clip on cable on the threaded speedometer? Is there any type of adapter or connector to make it work?

I"m not aware of any adapter available but you might find one.
Pretty sure that you will need a speedo cable with a threaded connector to be able to hook up to Stewart Warner & VDO gauges .

What are you using for a speed sensor? Where is it located? Usually GNX style dashes have a speed sensor located in the middle of the cable which screws on. My AVC cluster uses the lower half of the GN cable which attaches to a speed sensor then a short screw on cable that goes from the speed sensor to the speedometer.
