Can you take the internals out of a regular regal 200r4 and put them in a brf case?

Yes.... What makes a BRF is the valve body and governor. Now if you plan on using it with a power combo, then you may want to look into a billet drum, bigger servo and better cluthes.

There are a few differences to the guts of the high performance 200-4R's. Most notably the rear roller clutch has a Torrington thrust bearing and the others have a plastic washer that is always cracked. Also the planetary pinions have more thrust capacity because they have a better thrust assembly. Usually I find myself putting the high performance guts in other standard 200-4r cases.

The one in my car has BRF on it. The one you are referencing is nothing but a weight. It would take machining to make it work.
