cant get enough boost

i went to the track and cant get over 19# of boost.everything was fine before i went i had the rod almost all the way out and could still get 15#.i dont have any exh.leaks.it spools up fast and gets the 19 fast.i have a pte 49 with the hd actuator.my vac hoses to the turbo and actuator are ok.any ideas?

i have no cat and i tried a 110 testa and a 100 lubrant.and my street chip.all the same

Hmmm. Checked turbo endplay? header leaks? actuator issues? checked exaust wheel for damage?

I had to cut 1/4" more off mine just to get 22psi in 1st and 2nd and 20 in 3rd.

i have checked for exh. leaks and cant find none.have not checked exh. wheel. and end play.the turbo has 2000 miles.how do you check the actuator?i dont know about cutting it because i used to not turn it in very far to have 25# of boost.

You have actually run 25# before?

Doesn't happen to be a 51 turbo, does it?

i have a pte 49.i did 25# 1 time when i first got it.i was used to how far i had to turn the rod on my stock one.i found my boost line going into the car where i had my tee for the alky was leaking.i put a zip tie on it and i ran 21#.or maybe something else started working but it works for now.thanks for talking with me
