in them.

That's between the ECU and the CCOM software, not a communication problem on the laptop.

It sounds like Otto has some ideas.

Shane/Otto, how about a sticky, along w/ the other threads pertaining to this problem?????

He had 2 issues.
1st one was the port comfiguration to his USB adaptor.
The other was that someone had flashed his ECU last year
and the software in his laptop had not been updated to match.

I could make a living taking calls that some vendors can't

Otto has cleaned up some shoddy tuneups from some other vendors. I have witnessed some work that has came out of a popular speed shop and have to wonder if they think when you start a car by pushing the gas pedal to the floor and get the 02 correction within the window of limits acceptable. Spoolup is a entire different story. It seems some might just take a startup program from years ago and keep sending it out time and time again and never improve upon.
