Can't Install TC!!!!!!!

I have a 400 tranny ready to put in my GN. I have a Precision 9.5" TC to put on the tranny. Problem is it wont go on. It slips down onto the first shaft then stops. I counted the teeth on the splines and they match. Everything looks like it should work but no matter what it wouldn't go on. After trying and trying I noticed that the only place that it looked like it may be hanging up is not the shaft but the bushing on the tranny right behind the o-ring. It seems the bushing is a bit smaller than the neck of the TC. At least I am hoping this is a bushing. Can this be corrected by removing it and putting the right one in??

Don't you have to turn the TC as you are installing it so it engages correctly? Not sure if you were doing that or not or just trying to push it straight in. (No trans expert here)

Yep you're right Mark. The problem is I think the rebuilder put the wrong bushing in the neck of the tranny so the neck of the TC wont slide in to it because it is bigger. The splines seem to be fine. I'm dropping it off to a guy that knows what he is talking about tomorrow. i'll let you all know what he finds.
