Capacitor ? and Battery ?

I am running two amps, a 400 watt for 6x9's and 5 1/4's, and an 800w for 2 12" vegas. Would a cap do me good? And will a 1.0 cap be enough for both amps, or should it just be used for the 800w amp?

What batteries, size and brand, are you guys using with your systems? I am using my stock battery to run everything, I don't want to add another for the amps, but would like one big enough to handle everything. Right now my battery is 840cca, and dies within a week of sitting.

For a cap...you might benefit from one, but more than likely not. If you did get one, 1F would be plenty.

As far as battery, sounds like yours is just old and needs replaced if it looses its charge when sitting. Just get any battery really. I wouldn't get one that has less than 800CCA, but then again, most all batterys have that or more.
