Make sure its not a bad ECM.....try a known good one to see.. OR IT COULD BE A BAD FUEL PUMP. CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER OUT AS WELL IF YOU CHANGE THE PUMP. WHATS HAPPENING SOUNDS LIKE IS AS LONG AS YOUR PUMP IS RUNNING COLD THEN THE CAR PUMPS ENOUGH GAS AND THERE IS NO PROBLEM. BUT AS SOON AS THE PUMP STARTS TO HEAT UP A BIT THE BAD PUMP CAN'T MAINTAIN THE PRESSURE AND YOUR GN IS STARVING FOR FUEL. CHECK YOUR FUEL PRESSURE AT IDLE AND W.O.T. TO MAKE SURE. BUT THE PROBLEM SOUNDS LIKE FUEL STARVATION EITHER FROM YOUR BAD PUMP OUR BAD INJECTORS. MAKE SURE THE FUEL RELAY IS WORKING FINE AS WELL.
LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS FRIEND.

IF IT WAS THE TPS SENSOR THEN IT WOULD THROW A CODE AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD BE ON. SO THATS NOT IT

Not A Bad Tps Sensor

Mine just went out last night and now mine will not start.

IF IT WAS THE TPS SENSOR THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD BE ON.
SO I DON'T THINK THATS IT.:D  :D :D :D :)

CHECK THE FUEL PUMP. AFTER A BAD PUMP GETS HOT YOUR CAR WILL STARVE FOR FUEL AND DIE. AND THEN YOU LET THE CAR SIT FOR A WHILE AND THE PUMP COOLS OFF AND THE CAR STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS LIKE A CHAMP AGAIN. SO CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER AND THE PUMP.

BEEN THERE DONE THAT.

Turn off the caps lock key. It's considered hollering in Internet etiquette

OP is this related to the Vacuum diaphram on you brake booster??

yes it is. so far ive worked out all the bugs and problems... all im left with is the vaccum brake booster and the car seem to go lean at wot.. i think its a mis-calibrated maf so i have an lt1 maf and a translator on the way... and hopefully thatll it..

i was just going to suggest that, swap out the mass air flow sensor just for kicks. also the fuel suggestions seems nice also if that doesnt work.

Look at the BL number on your scanmaster. And look at the IAC as well. Both of those numbers will indicate a vacuum or fuel issue.

BL= 118-138. Better.. 124-132
IAC=20 in park is fine. Anything above zero. 0 is bad.

Buy some zip ties and change hoses that "pop" off. Thats a sign of a problem. FP hose pop's off at high boost=headgasket.

IAC at 2 means the throttle plate is too far open. It needs to be closed using the set screw on top of the drivers side. Close it about a turn.. then reset your TPS to like .42-.44..and watch the IAC go up.

Next BL at 141 means your fuel settings are lean. It can be a simple fuel pressure is low, or it can be a vacuum leak. Can also be a bad MAF, bad O2 sensor, leaky PCV, etc.. If you start to drive the car and the BL at idle, cruise, decel, is at 141.. then you need more fuel pressure. If only idle is affected, then you need to look at vacuum leaks. Meaning when you give it gas it drops to 124-132 and only idle is 141.. then your problem is hose related..

High BL's can be tough to diagnose. When I work on a Buick with High BL numbers.. I always pull the ecm fuse.. reset it.. then drive the car see if the problem went away.

fuel pressure is at about 45-46psi line off and about 39-40 line on. and bl's do come down when i give it gas. also o2 sensor is about 2 months old. i havent changed pcv and im waiting on the lt1 maf and tranlator

changed the booster.... idels way better.. bl's are now at 138 and iac is at 11
