Okay, I recently bought an 1987 Buick Turbo T Limited and now I'm starting to notice some weird things about it. I was so mesmerized by the excellent condition the car was in that I did notice a few key things.
1. The car has no vin number in the front window, door, or trunk. There is
however, a NJ State replacement Vin inside the driver side door jamb.
2. The car is a two-two grey and silver limited however the vin number as I
discovered after the fact is for a J (regal) car not an M(limited).
3. Inspecting the cowl tag showed that the cars original color code was 11.
As best I can tell, this is the color code for white.
Although I really love the car and its is currently in excellent condition as far as the paint and interior are concerned and the mileage shows as 109k I'm dying to know what the history of the car is. Maybe someone can run a car fax for me. The vin# is 1g4gj1179hp24157. I'm hoping some one can shed a little light on the subject. Although it is a NJ car, the CA title shows it as clear. Thanks for any help.
