car popping

finally got the car started but when it starts its popping and then when i put it in gear it act like its going to cut off and starts popping even more.im wondering if it can be that i got the wrong coil because i couldnt get it to crank with the firing order that i got off here. is that possible or could it be bad

How do you have the firing order now?
Engine light on at all?

its not stock brought it from auto zone, it dont have numbers on it so either way you put it it looks right tried it both ways. no ses light.now this might sound strange but if you go by the firing order on the car its like this 153 on front of coil and 426 on back. to get it cranked i got 1-1 5-3 3-5 and 4-6 2-4 6-2 dont know why but thats the only way it would start

What year car? When you changed the coil pack, did you put the wires from the module on in the right order?
