I parked my car in a friends garadge to do a little work and I noticed that my car sagged on the right side. What do you think is wrong, and how can I fix it.

Thanks
Chris

I've got the same problem...I'm getting ready to do body mounts...I'm hoping that'll fix mine.

Mine does the same, but to the left. I thought swapping the rear springs would make a difference. It didn't.

I was thinking my frame was bent...but I am sure my engine is not strong enough to do that. I was hoping it was my springs as well, but wanted to make sure. When riding around my car is very stiff. When I hit a small bump, it feels like my teeth are falling out. I am the 2nd owner of the car and I don't know what has been done to the car.

Thanks
Chris

Where?

You need to take some measurements- so you know if it's the suspension, or the body on the frame. Not sure where the best points for reference are. I would think that at the rear, the center of the bushing where the lower control arm attaches to the body would be good, and at the front, maybe the center of the pivot for the lower A arm. If those are the same on both sides, then the suspension is "even", and the body to frame mounting must be the problem. Could be something as simple as having a rear spring "twisted". I think that if they aren't turned with the pig-tail in the right location, (between holes in the spring seat?), that can affect ride height. There is a sketch in the service manual showing the spring orientation.

My car also sagged a little to the right side. I changed out the front body bushings first. That didn't help, then I installed new shocks & springs and that made the car sit perfect! I used Eibach & Tokico, did lower the car but rides great & looks nice too. Just my 0.02

Okay...I will go out and take messurements. What type of shocks should I get if I have to replace them. Also springs as well.

Thanks
Chris

My car sagged on the left side, so I put an air bag on that side also. And thats the truth. :D
( I couldn't help it)
