Car shut off wil not start!

So on my home from power tour last night in the rain (87 GN)ll out of no where the car just dies while driving down the road. I have it towed home,get home from work to day put bttery charger on it,it starts and runs f about 5 seconds then dies and will nt start again. te fuel pump is coming on and I have power to the ecm. I unplugged ecm with the key on and when I pluged it back up I hear the fuel pump come on and prime. where should I start looking and what and how sould I test. thanks guys!

is there a certain way to check for spark on these cars,im getting fuel so im thinking no spark

you say you are getting fuel, do you have a gauge on it? Is it holding pressure when you turn the key off? How long? Could be regulator related. Just because the pump runs doesn't mean it has the pressure needed for the engine to run.

hit the test o the alky unit and it sill doesnt start,il check fuel pressuretnight but shouldnt it start or a few seconds if i pruge it with alky
