Car wan't start, need help

This has happened before and this time I can't get it to start.
I started the car this morning and then shut it off. When I went to start it again, it didn't start. I have no idea what I did.
I believe that the problem is the factory alarm.
When I turn the key nothing happens.
The car is completely dead. No clicking noises nothing.
The battery is fully charged.
Can someone please tell me how to turn off the factory alarm, or better yet, to disconnect it completely. I have another alarm on the car.
If it's not the alarm, what else can it be?

ITS THE STARTER. I CHANGED ALL THE ALARM CRAP .THERE IS A BOX UNDER THE DASH AND STILL HAD PROBLEMS. BE CAREFULL AND CLIMB UNDER THE CAR AND LIGHTLY TAP THE STARTER AND TRY IT. GOOD LUCK

Make sure all your battery connections are clean and free of corrosion. Check connections at the starter, may be loose.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a try.
I thought if the starter was bad, I would at the very least hear something.
I'll let you know what happens.

I had mine rebuilt but you can get a mini starter on Turbobuicks.com for $100 last I knew.
