Car wont start!!

Its been sitting for a few months, and today i charged the battey up and the car wont start. Its turns, and starts for a second, then dies. It sounds like its trying to run, car shakes, then dies. Where do i start? Its always started no problem!

If you didn't use a fuel stabilizer it could be bad gas, but more than likely the car is just flooding out. Don't ask me why fuel injected cars do this after sitting, but almost all of them do. Try a new set of plugs first and go from there. Post back and good luck. Jim.

My car did the same thing about two weeks ago. I changed the plugs and BAM fired right up, about 1 second of crank time. Look at the easy things first, $6 in plugs and 20 mins of time is about as easy as it gets....

Did you try to start it a few times before the battery was charged? Could just be flooded.

If it's flooded, start it @ WOT. You'll probably have to keep your foot on the gas for a bit... then it should run fine.
