A few months ago i bought my 86 Regal T-type from someone. The car already had 60lb injectors, LS1 MAF, MAF translator, 61mm turbo, Scanmaster, CAI, it was chipped and had a "anti-theft mode".A few weeks later the Turbo was bad and i replaced it with a T66(somehow the anti theft mode was now disabled). It ran fine for about 2 weeks until one night i drove home from work to pick up something. The car was running outside for almost five minutes then i could hear it cut off from inside the house(exhaust cut-out). I ran to check on the car and it started up just fine so i drove back to work. The next morning after i got off of my shift, i tried to drive home but the car would only run for 3 seconds before dying every time. No one in my town is familiar with t-type/grand nationals so i had it towed. Many phone calls, $460 and 2.5 hr drive later the car is at a shop. Fp, injectors, connections, MAF, and scanned for codes, everything checked out fine. They did mention the car was shooting a bunch of fuel towards the front of the car. Im definitely not a mechanic but this is what they've told me. After that was fixed the CAM Synchronizer was bad so i had that replaced $290. Then the car ran for 20 minutes at a time before dying(according to them). Now supposedly the anti-theft mode is enabled again except the old procedure isnt working to get it to stay running for over 3 seconds again
. I don't know anyone else i can take this car to and a lot of S**T isnt adding up. If anyone knows what this problem is and a solution to it please let me know. i've been paying for a car i cannot drive for almost 2 months now.:
