carpet install questions

My car hasn't had carpet in it since the day it got dropped off at my house. I have no idea what cuts are supposed to be made (seat belts, center console, ecm harness, etc.) Can you guys help me out so I don't destroy my new carpet? Pics to go along with posts would help a great deal as would install tips. Interior is already stripped and carpet is pulled up to firewall.
