V-Plus Volt Booster 86/87
Your alternator is designed to put out a specific voltage to your electrical system, typically 13.2 volts. The car battery can then be continuously charged while the engine is running. The problem with this system is when there is a greater demand on the electrical system—during wide-open-throttle—the alternator tends to fall short on delivery. Decreased system voltage, when you need it most, causes less than adequate fuel pump flow and ignition spark. The Vplus booster overcomes that inadequacy by increasing the system voltage by 2.2 volts at approximately 70% throttle. The result: ncreased fuel delivery, hotter spark and greater overall performance!
