caspers volt booster?

I recently bought a used caspers v booster but the diagram on caspers site is different. Mine has an extra wire. Anyone have a diff diagram?

No, that is a SAFER bet. SAFEST bet is to not use it.

As for the OP question: The extra wire is a ground and should be attached to the shell of the alternator. I believe it used a 5mm short bolt. This design goes back to 1998 and had since been revised.

As for the rest of turbo Buick world, the thousands of you out there who use and race with the volt boosters, remove them, stomp on them, smash them with hammers, set them on fire, bury the remains in a Buick graveyard, and do it now - because GNRick says so.

for that ground i usually back out one of the four case screws and put it there
