So my car was running seemingly fine using Caspers #108112 xfi-gn adapter. I cut off the wire coming out of the pin connector pin D5 , at the time i thought this was for fuel pressure logging input but now that im putting the car back together using the oil and fuel egr pnp harness i went back to check this.
what i see online shows this was for EST BYPASS , not sure if the adapter box changes the wiring schematics inside and then sends it out out correctly when connecting to the harness on the car.
Im looking at the short adapter harness which has a the one plug labeled D , looking at the oem schematic D4 should be empty, though this harness has a wire and pin on D4.
does anyone know where the lead wire coming off pin D5 on the adapter harness should end up on the XFI side of the A , B , C, D plugs?
The D4 wire which is empty on the oem diagram is currently running to C11, which shows to be Analog Aux Return Ground ??
