Catalytic converter flange gasket?

Is there such a a thing as catalytic converter flange gasket? I have a Hooker exhaust and discovered that the converter flange corners are slightly raised toward the exhaust side flange leaving small gaps around the interface, tightening things does not do anything. Is there a gasket material that could be used in there to seal things up that would last more than a few miles?

I make my own gasket for the cat flange. Made of this fibrous material I think is called Pyropel.

Anyway, if you want I can cut you one. Do you have the standard 4 bolt oval flange?

i just used copper rtv, works good

i don't have any gasket for mine, it seals up pretty good.

i inow my dads car has some of that gasket in a tube stuff they have at autozone around it. probably a silicone based type of stuff.
