Is there really a big difference between the hi flow 3" cat and a universal fit 3" cat?
I'll be needing one in a bit and hafta order it.
besides the big price difference is one any better then the other?
i have to pass the dyno type e test.

From what I've heard some of the Hi Flows are only high flows because of the packaging.
Late model GM truck should do OK for you.

I had a high flow cat. on my car a few years. Took it off and hollowed it to go racing. Gained 4 psi. boost NO other changes.

Cats. suck in MHO.

I bought a random tech. hi-flo to replace it for emissions and to see if they live up to their reputation so that I can leave it on the car.

Now they stopped emission testing for now in CT.
