CD to MP3

I just bought my first mp3 player. I need to convert music from a cd to mp3 format.

What software do I need? I use roxio easy cd 5 for burning cd's.

Any help would be appreciated.

I use Nero software, and all I do is go to nero express (I think) and select make an mp3 cd

any program that converts .wavs to .mp3s. I have been using eJay for years and really dont know any other programs so i am bias.

I use cdex, it will let you set almost any bit rate needed! Free is good!

I've had good luck with CDCopy. Downloaded that from somewhere, and it was free.

audiocatalyst is the best cd to mp3 (or back) converter I've seen. It'll automatically name files using CDDB, has a zillion settings.
