center caps for kirbans gnx

Who sells these wheel caps? part # from Gm.

I have the Enkie rims that look similar to that.

What size is the hole? I remember something about having the wrong size or something about the kirban ones.

These are Kirbans wheels. I ordered the caps from GM parts direct,but I can't remember the part #

Kirban wheels do not use GM caps. They used Eagle??? or American Racing center caps which are no longer available. There are some folks here sitting on several new ones , but they are considered gold.

GTA/ GNX wheels use the GM center caps for obvious reasons.

The GM and Kirban's caps are totally different, and I'm pretty sure the wheels are too...

I have the origional caps for my gnx style wheels, but i would rather have the GTA style, maybe I can trade someone

Here's another pic. These are GM caps. I removed the plastic tabs and just utilize the metal insert. They hold fine so far.

Are these the same style as Kirbans gnx caps?

I think I found them thru jc whitney. 24 bucks for 4. fit late eighties trans am.

The jc whitney caps arrived and they are the wrong ones

The good news is that trying to remember my old e-mail address and password for gm parts direct from over 3 years ago...paid off

I ordered two moire caps that I ordered 3 years ago. Good that means I can save my kirban caps.


If anybody needs the correct part # it is 12514403. These have the metal insert and can and do work with Kirbans wheels.

I have these wheels, they are enkei rims, look similar to the kirban ones, not sure if they are the same.

Can you tell me if they are the same? if so i'll try some of those gmpartsdirect caps.

The pattern and caps sure look like kirbans. It's kinda hard to tell without a straight on shot.

They sure look like them. 3 inch opening I'd say they are. can you run 255 in back and 245 up front?

The one thing about the gm parts caps. They have the plastic tabs along with the metal insert. You have to break off the pastic tabs and just use the metal insert. Get the insert installed on the bottom of the opening and with the help of a screwdiver push the metal ends down and into the wheel. Just make sure you break off the tabs cleanly so the cap rests flush with the wheel.

Then of course you'll need to order the larger size of center cap overlays from Mark of BFH. By the way they fit perfect!!
