I recently had the transmission rebuilt by Janis, currently waiting on a 3000 stall LU converter, I’m the mean time, I changed a whole mess of stuff. Anything I should do before hooking up the battery for the first time? I would like to make sure everything is good to go before I bring it to Cotton’s for the transmission install. List below of what I added,
Champion stock intake
Ported upper plenum with EGR deleted
Accufab 65mm TB
Champion billet fuel rails
52 lb injectors from Turbo Tweak
Replaced every sensor ie.. knock, coolant, fan, oil, Denso O2, IAC, etc…
AC compressor, dryer, orifice tube
200 amp alternator
Water pump
TE-44 turbo equivalent from Turbo Tweak
Precision extended SLIC
Every coolant hose and vacuum line
Stainless coolant line without TB ports
RJC billet pulleys
Billet belt tensioner
Complete Caspers engine harness
Casper’s injector harness
Casper’s battery cables
Racetronix 340 pump with larger return
Casper’s Hotwire kit
Duel fan kit with Casper’s wire kit
Powerlogger
Turbo Tweak 6.1 chip
Scanmaster 2.2 chip
Knock gauge
AEM WB fail safe gauge ( still trying to figure out how to wire)
RJC stainless DP with bung
RJC test pipe with cutout
Mini starter
External balanced SFI flywheel
18x9 18x10 GNX wheels
Nitto 245/40R18 275/40R18 tires
That’s all I can remember at this time.
The car ran fine before, I already had the Accufab adjustable fuel regulator and gauge on there as well as a MAF upgrade with translator, TPS-TEC, Scanmaster, VDO GNX gauge set.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to the staff at Highway Stars, GBody, Kirbans, Caspers, GN1, Turbo Tweak, Cotton’s, and Janis for seamless parts shipping and questions and input I have received from Bison and Earl Brown.
